First photograph (w/ human)

Apart from being an interesting photograph, the significance of this image is in the details. Despite the streets being filled with people, none are visible in the image as a result of the exposure was minutes long (to accommodate for the aperture) . Thus only static elements appear in the final image, particularly the shoe shining man (found in the bottom left). Interestingly, these people are likely unaware of their importance in the history of photography.
